Hoi Polloi & friends: Hoi with the Polloi! (The Improvised Comedy Show)

Zurich's international improv troupe Hoi Polloi is back from the summer break, and so is short form improv comedy with a bang and a whimper! Come get your fill of fun in this night of scenes made up on the spot by Hoi Polloi and friends, inspired by your inputs!

Hoi Polloi with David Razowsky - The Improv Show

Come for a night full of fresh improvised theatre, as Zurich's international ensemble Hoi Polloi teams up with renowned US-American improviser David Razowsky.

Razowsky's style is both minimalist and impactful, with a strong focus on listening and reacting truthfully, making every scene feel alive and unpredictable.

Come for an fun night of English language improv!

In the first part, students of Storylabor improv courses will perform various forms of improv theater: from games (as seen on "Whose Line is it anyway") to Long form improv, which means taking an input from the audience and spontaneously creating related scenes.

In the second part of the night, Zurich's international improv ensemble "Hoi Polloi" will perform a set based on audience input.

A night of fun, games, and socialising in a community of friendly, playful people from all around the world! :)

Hoi Polloi: The May Show (Improv)

Join us on the 23rd May at 19.30h at the Comedy Haus in Zurich for an evening of improvised laughter and creativity with Hoi Polloi's improv extravaganza, "The May Show”! 

We're thrilled to have as our guests Zurich’s hilarious new improv group “Milquetoast” and will kick things off with some fun games. The second half of the show will feature long-form improv theatre that promises to keep you on the edge of your seat!

Join us for an evening of jolly fun and laughter as our team of international improvisers brings holiday cheer to the stage. "Ho Ho Ho" is not your ordinary show – it's a merry mix of games and stories with plenty of Christmas magic, inspired by your inputs.

In the first half, two teams are competing for the Santa Trophy - and you, the audience get to decide which scenes are winning. In the second half, your most memorable Christmas gifts will inspire our stories. All completely improvised on the spot!
