Payment of Course Fees

After registering for a course, you will receive a confirmation from us with payment details. The payment deadline specified therein is binding.

Course Organization

For organizational reasons, we reserve the right to change the venue or shorten courses with a proportional refund of the course fee. If a course instructor is absent, the school management may appoint a new instructor or provide a substitute.

Course Places and Implementation

To be able to conduct our courses under optimal conditions, we define a minimum and maximum number of participants for each learning offer. Course places are allocated in the order of registration (subject to timely payment). If the number of participants is insufficient, the course will generally not be conducted and the course fee will be refunded.

In the case of a class with too few students, it may occur in individual cases that we conduct the course subject to the agreement of the course participants, but increase the course fee accordingly or, where appropriate, reduce the number of lessons.

Cancellations

For cancellations before the course starts, we can waive or refund the course fee, subject to a processing fee of CHF 40.-. If the cancellation is after the start of the course, the entire course fee must be paid.

Missed Lessons

Missed lessons cannot be made up and will not be refunded.

Course Exclusion

Unacceptable behavior during the course may lead to the exclusion of the respective participant. The decision regarding such exclusion is at the discretion of the course instructor or organizers. Unacceptable behavior includes, but is not limited to: disrupting the course proceedings, engaging in offensive or disrespectful conduct towards other participants or course staff, displaying physical or verbal aggression, and any behavior that jeopardizes the safety or smooth running of the course. In such cases, there will be no entitlement to a refund of course fees.

Course Certificate

Upon request and after attending at least 80 percent of the course lessons, we will be happy to issue a course certificate to you.

Insurance

For all courses and events organized by Storylabor, we exclude any liability for damages incurred. You are therefore responsible for adequate insurance coverage. The use of the facilities is at your own risk. Storylabor cannot be held liable for theft and loss of property.

Program and Price Changes

Program and price changes, as well as changes in the general terms and conditions, are subject to change.

Zahlung des Kursgeldes

Nachdem Sie sich für einen Kurs angemeldet haben, erhalten Sie von uns eine Bestätigung mit den Angaben zur Einzahlung. Der dort aufgeführte Zahlungstermin ist verbindlich.  

Kursorganisation 

Aus organisatorischen Gründen behalten wir uns vor, den Durchführungsort zu ändern oder Kurse bei prozentualer Rückerstattung des Kursgeldes zu kürzen. Fällt eine Kursleitung aus, kann die Schulleitung einen Kursleiterwechsel vornehmen oder eine Stellvertretung einsetzen. 

Kursplätze und Durchführung

Um unsere Kurse unter optimalen Bedingungen durchführen zu können, legen wir für jedes Lernangebot eine minimale und eine maximale Teilnehmerzahl fest. Die Kursplätze werden in der Reihenfolge der Anmeldungen vergeben (unter Vorbehalt der rechtzeitigen Zahlung). Bei ungenügender Teilnehmerzahl wird der Kurs in der Regel nicht durchgeführt und das Kursgeld rückerstattet. 

Bei Unterbestand einer Klasse kann es in Einzelfällen vorkommen, dass wir den Kurs unter Vorbehalt des Einverständnisses der Kursteilnehmenden durchführen, jedoch das Kursgeld entsprechend erhöhen oder, wo es sinnvoll ist, die Anzahl der Lektionen reduzieren. 

Abmeldungen

Bei Abmeldungen vor Kursstart können wir Ihnen die Kursgeldzahlung erlassen bzw. rückerstatten, wobei eine Bearbeitungsgebühr von CHF 40.- erhoben wird. Erfolgt die Abmeldung nach Kursbeginn, ist das gesamte Kursgeld zu zahlen. 

Nicht besuchte Lektionen 

Nicht besuchte Lektionen können nicht nachgeholt werden und werden nicht rückerstattet. 

Kursausschluss

Inakzeptables Verhalten während des Kurses kann zum Ausschluss des betreffenden Teilnehmers führen. Die Entscheidung über einen solchen Ausschluss liegt im Ermessen des Kursleiters oder der Organisatoren. Inakzeptables Verhalten umfasst, ist jedoch nicht beschränkt auf: Störung des Kursablaufs, beleidigendes oder respektloses Verhalten gegenüber anderen Teilnehmern oder dem Kurspersonal, physische oder verbale Aggression und jegliches Verhalten, das die Sicherheit oder den reibungslosen Ablauf des Kurses gefährdet. In einem solchen Fall erfolgt kein Anspruch auf Rückerstattung der Kursgebühren oder anderer Kosten.

Kursbestätigung 

Auf Ihren Wunsch und nach erfolgtem Besuch von mindestens 80 Prozent der Kurslektionen stellen wir Ihnen gerne eine Kursbestätigung aus.

Versicherung 

Für alle von Storylabor organisierten Kurse und Veranstaltungen schliessen wir jegliche Haftung für entstandene Schäden aus. Sie sind daher selber für eine ausreichende Versicherungsdeckung verantwortlich. Das Benutzen der Anlagen erfolgt auf eigene Gefahr. Für Diebstahl und Verlust von Gegenständen kann Storylabor nicht haftbar gemacht werden.
